LOA!!!!! And a name!!

On Monday, we heard from our agency that our LOA (letter of approval, or officially Letter Seeking Confirmation) arrived at our agency!  This means that the Chinese government has approved our family to adopt BiLiang!  This came as a surprise to us (the timing, not actually being approved), because the previous Friday our agency coordinator checked with the online system in China and it said that they hadn't issued our LOA yet.  Guess they hadn't updated their system yet.  Love those kind of surprises!  One big step closer.  We mailed off our I800 to US immigration yesterday and are now waiting on that approval, which usually takes about 2 weeks.  The next few steps are a lot more predictable, so we are pretty certain that we will be traveling in June.  I (April) will be going without David again this time. Olivia will be going with me to be my helper, and David will stay home with the rest of the crew.  It worked out good last time doing it this way (except Hannah came with me last time).

After much deliberation, we finally picked out a first name for our little guy.

Introducing Jacob ????? Biliang .................. (we are still trying to decide on a second middle name)

Here's a great picture of Jacob showing his friends how it is done:

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this smile!
