Today, we went to the consulate to finish up the application for Jayden's visa to come to America. He will become an American citizen when we land on American soil. The appointment went off without a hitch, and it was pretty much the same as our previous adoptions, except we were in a smaller room.
After going to the consulate, we visited the six Banyan temple. This was the first time for Hannah to see a Buddist temple, so I was trying to explain things to her as we were seeing different areas and different things that people were doing, such as kneeling, bowing, burning incense, and offerings. It is a functioning temple, so there were many people there worshiping. It was a very eye opening experience for Hannah, and we both were silently praying for the people there, that they would come to know the Truth.
We got back to the hotel mid morning, just in time to tuck the kids in back home via Skype. Jayden enjoyed a lot of play time in the hotel today, and is amazing me at how much he is learning to do with his feet. He went from not having any idea what to do with his feet or toys a week ago, to picking up toys with both feet, playing with cars, trying to stack cups. This little guy has so much patience when he is playing. He worked for about 15 minutes trying to position a cup just the right way and attempting to put another cup on top. When the cup immediately toppled over, he did not show any frustration, but just continued to try. He will go far, I just know it.
